The MSU Libraries is offering a retreat specifically designed for graduate students who are in the beginning process of writing their thesis or dissertation.
Attendees will learn how to successfully utilize the library’s resources. Presentations include using the new Library databases, data management and the thesis/dissertation submission process. Sessions include "Navigating the Dissertation Journey: Best Practices and Strategies for Success" by Deborah Lee; "Using Discovery, Library Databases and ILL/Document Delivery" by Melody Dale; "Basics for Research Data Management" by Carolina Siniscalchi; and "Thesis and Dissertation Formatting and Submitting Resources" by Danny Davis.
Morning refreshments will be provided for all pre-registered attendees. Space is limited to 35 students. Pre-registration is required.
