Â鶹´«Ã½

Visitors gather around a Model 1841 cannon after its unveiling at Â鶹´«Ã½ State on Monday [Feb. 3]. On loan to MSU from the Â鶹´«Ã½ Department of Archives and History, it now sits outside the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library in Mitchell Memorial Library. Commissioned in 1846, the artillery artifact is believed to have been used  in the Mexican-American War and the Civil War.
